Shapes

Alexander has got his shapes sorted!! He knows the difference between 2D and 3D  shapes! 2D shapes are flat. 3D shapes are fat

Swimming

The children in Room 5 had an awesome time swimming in the pool for the first 6 weeks of school. We focused on water confidence and learning to get from one side of the pool to the other using different apparatus. We used kick boards and noodles. We also practised picking items up from the bottom of the pool. Well done Room 5!

Shapes

In Room 5 we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes! We sorted pictures and real objects from our class. Then we did our own shape sort! 

Storytelling

For writing we tried some story telling. We retold Pete the Cat by using our story maps! Room 5 could step their story so confidently 

Slinky

For show and tell, Felix showed us his slinky. He also researched some fun facts to share with room 5! Well done Felix 

Beach Ed
