Spencer Park

On Monday the Juniors headed to Spencer Park to learn about looking after our environment. The children did a scavenger hunt to find items that belong on the beach and things that have been left there by people. We split these items into two groups, man made and natural. We found a lot of rubbish and learnt what this rubbish does to our sea life. Many animals are dying because of the amount of rubbish that ends up in the ocean. We learnt that we need to look after our beaches and waterways to protect wildlife.
