Triathlon 2016

Room 5 entered 5 teams into this years Triathlon. We had an amazing time and we all did very well!!! Each team had a swimmer, a scooterer and a runner. Fantastic effort Room 5:)

Do Unto Otters

Earlier this term we read the story "Do Unto Otters". We learnt that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. This was a very cute story about a rabbit who had new neighbours. The wise old owl gave the rabbit advice on how he should treat the otters.

We worked together to make a display for the class on how we should treat others in our classroom. The children enjoyed making their own otters and painting our awesome display.

Swimming

With all the lovely hot weather we have been having the children have been super excited to hop into the pool. We have been working on our water confidence, kicking, gliding and blowing bubbles. Go Room 5 you are doing really well!!!

Buddy Reading

We met on Thursday for the first time with our buddy class, Room 14. We were all super excited to meet them. Room 5 had a fabulous time reading their books and having a book read to them. We are looking forward to next week!!!!

Fabulous Fantastic Room 5

Room 5 have had a great start to the school year. We have been getting to know each other and learning the routines of the class. We are all excited about the year ahead in fabulous Room 5!!!
